Time flys by when you're having fun

WOW, I can not believe how this semester has gone back so fast!! I'm sorry I haven't been able to write on my blog as much as I wish I could. Songfest, Chi Omega's philanthropy is now over with and Thanksgiving is in 9 days!! yippy:) Like I've said many times before, I LOVE HOLIDAYS!! I get excited around every holiday season!
This is my prayer tonight..

God, I pray tonight for my friends and family and how I ache for those who've lost loved ones over the past week. This Thanksgiving is going to be hard for a lot of people especially those who are in a finanical crisis. Grant us the abilty to give this holiday season and to have a loving heart. Please, Lord, watch over all of us who are getting ready for college finals and be with the ones who seek you. AMEN.

This past week has been sort of tough for me because November 12th marked the anniversary of my 13 year old cousin, Katie- who passed away 5 years ago- death. She would have been 18 now. Her smiling face still is pictured in my brain and it makes me happy to know she arises with our savior. I'm jealous! Also, a dear friend's husband, Jason Weathers 35th birthday was Nov 12th as well and he passed away summer of 08. VERY sad day to think about. BUT ANYWAYS.. let me move on to happier things..
1)Christmas is around the corner.. YAYYY! i love the merry spirit everyone gets around this time of year!
2) MY good friend just made the USM football team!! WOOHOO..i'm so very proud of him!
3) Temple Baptist Church is hosting a Christmas Celebration Dec 12th & 13th.. it is very fun and wonderful so YOU should totally come:)
