A great laugh..

Wow what a crazy weekend.. Alison and I took a roadtrip to Pascagoula to Caitlin's house for their Mardi Gras parade then we left the next morning to go to Dadeville, AL to Alison's house. I learned a lot from this trip. Live, laugh, and love were the three main things though. I had SO much fun in Pascagoula until drama had to come along.. I will not say what happened but I just wanted to write about how crazy things in my life get when people do not understand what REALLY happened. I speak God's truth and that is it. PERIOD. no exceptions. God knows who is right and when people finally realize who really matters most then they will understand too, but for now they just look stupid arguing over something so little that doesn't even matter. (yes i know that is confusing for those who have no idea what i am talking about so.. just skip this paragraph haha)

After having a wonderful resting day in Dadeville, AL on Sunday which we laughed more than we ever thought we could... me and Alison headed back to Hattiesburg on Monday morning. We literally sang the whole way back (5 hours). I listened to some of the song's lyrics and they were so soreal to my life at this time.. for example here are the lyrics to the song "Never Had a Dream Come True"- S Club 7

Everybody's got something they had to leave behind

One regret from yesterday that just seems to grow with time

There's no use looking back or wondering

How it could be now or might have been

Oh this I know but still I can't find ways to let you go

I've never had a dream come true

Till the day that I found you

Even though I pretend that I've moved on

You'll always be my baby

I never found the words to say

You're the one I think about each day

And I know no matter where life takes me to

A part of me will always be with you

I seriously haven't heard this song in ages, but when I truly listened to the lyrics in the long car ride home I began to think about how much I missed HIM. It's a good miss though but I know my life is at a down fall right now but it soon will be rising up one of these days and i CAN NOT WAIT!! How exciting!! Everyone gets excited about a lot of things for instance Spring Break is coming up right? Well i am very excited about Spring Break of course but this excitement is completely different, than the excitement of my future life. I am SO thankful for the Lord giving me each morning to wake up and breathe and think "This is a new day, make the most of it!"
Have a great week.. thanks for reading my crazy blogs:)

"You have to be strong for yourself. You have to know that you are a good person and a good friend. What is meant to be, will end up good. What is not, Won't. Relationships are worth fighting for. But, You can't be the only one fighting. People need to fight for you. If they don't, you must move on and realize what you gave them was more than they were willing to give you. One day a person will realize great things when they come around and won't lose something real. Always fight, until you can't anymore, and then Be Fought For."
I think this quote is amazing. I love the thought of someone fighting for me.. that is great! But what really makes me happy is when I do something for other people. Lately I have been in a running mood.. I go and run all the time (well when I have time). But my mom got me involved in the "Waiting for a Cure foundation" which is a fund that raises money to benefit the needs of breast cancer patients, survivers, and their families in Southeast Mississippi. I ran in a race with my mom in Biloxi summer of 08 for Waiting for a Cure and I loved it!! I did better than I thought but I met this really cool girl before the race and she introduced me to her husband and when we were about to start running he smiled at her and just looked really happy for her to be in this race. haha and then we ran and after the race he was talking to another man and we walked up together and he pointed at her (his wife) and said "That's her"... and gave her a huge hug! Later I asked her how long they have been married and she was like Oh we have been married for 8 years and together for 15.. I was like omgah!! he acted as if he had JUST met her.. it was amazing to still see is love for her.
That gets me to this quote.. haha (I LOVE QUOTES/ BIBLE VERSES)
"Find a guy, who calls you beautiful instead of hot.Who calls you back when you hang up on him. Who will stay awake just to watch you sleep. Wait for the guy who kisses your forehead. Who wants to show you off to the world when you are in your sweats. Who holds your hand in front of his friends. Wait for the one who is constantly reminding you of how much he cares about you and how lucky he is to have you. Wait for the one who turns to his friends and says, "...that's her."
but anyways... TODAY WAS THE START OF THE BASEBALL SEASON!!! YAYYY GO EAGLES! haha I love sports and I admire people who like sports..:)
Thats all for now.. Keep praying..
Life is Love.Enjoy it.
Life is Beauty. Praise it.
Life is Spirit. Realise it.
Life is Song. Sing it.
Life is a Mystery. Unfold it.
Life is a Challenge. Meet it.
Life is a Goal. Achieve it.
Life is an Adventure. Dare it.
Life is a Sorrow. Overcome it.
Life is a Tragedy. Face it.
Life is a Game. Play it.
Life is a Duty. Perform it.
Life is an Opportunity. Take it.
Life is a Struggle. Fight it.
Life is a Journey. Complete it.
Life is a Puzzle. Solve it.
Life is a Promise. Fulfil it.

College..

soo when I say my life is crazy.. it's definitely crazy!! Today was such a long day.. well probably bc i went to class then came back and took a 5 hour nap.. haha but then we had a swap at night which made the day better!:) Have I mentioned how much I love my friends?? Well it's true.. tonight a song came on at the swap that said "I wish we wouldn't have broken up".. i forgot the name of it, but it REALLY hit me and upset me for some reason to think about those words. I looked at a friend and she smiled and came over and talked to me and just kinda made me change mind sets and think about happier things which always makes me smile:) but anyways.. I pray that I find hope once again to go out and have fun with my friends and just forget about ALL the things that are worrying me.. It's definitely a therapy to be with my friends just like it is to write down my feelings in a blog.. I never thought I would be writing to you about my life crisis but some guys (and girls) really like to read my writings for some reason..

It's hard to believe that this semester is almost half way over. My first year of college is almost over? This cannot be real. I remember looking into the future when I was in high school and thinking where do I see myself going to college and what is it actually going to be like? I remember thinking Those girls in college are soo pretty and they all have cute guys with them and they have fun at parties and I don't know if I am going to fit in with the sorority life!!!... But God made everything work out and even though it has been a crazy freshman year.. I have learned from my mistakes, stayed out late, gone out with friends the night before a big test, and taken friends home from parties who can barely walk.. OH the good days of C-O-L-L-E-G-E! gotta love it.
"If you obey all the rules, you'll miss all the fun." Katherine Hepburn

last but not least..
I want to make some goals and ambitions for myself and others.. I haven't thought of any good ones yet, but right now i just need simple goals like waking up early for class or read a couple of bible verses a day... something just to think about during the day instead of worrying about school or relationships. Well if you have goals that would be good for me please comment on here!:) good night all.

Where do I start?

I first off have to start by saying how crazy my life has been in the past few months. Everything from family, to old friends, to college, to new friends, and finally to relationships. I have dealt with it all. My family things are just to complicated but its more of all my family members are getting old and sick. My sweet little 4"10' grandmother(mom's side) is having to take care of her brother and sister-in-law who are up there in their late 80's early 90's and both have alzteimers. I pray for grandma every day because she is starting to act like both of them and it is an awful thing to be around. I also pray for my dad, he is getting sick.. I don't want to say what is wrong with him just yet because we haven't found out yet but he needs prayer! Now.. next lets move on to old friends.. i miss them more and more!! when i say "old" friends I dont mean like the ones i dont want in my life, just meaning they are my high school friends who have moved to different colleges and we hardly have time to talk to each other. We have to do something about this... :) but now on to COLLEGE. what a word. NO ONE could ever prepare me for such a wonderful/ crazy atmosphere and school life I would be adjusting to.. It's been a wonderful experience so far but I am so thankful for God's love through this transaction. I have been blessed to be in a sorority who love me for who I am even through the tough times. My "new" friends are who keep me up and going every day and I love them SOO much for that!! It takes a lot to keep active and busy every day but they still manage to do so....

Now on to everyone's favorite subject and topic through these last couple of months. RELATIONSHIPS
I will start off by quoting..
"Life is too short to wake up in the morning with regrets so love the people who treat you right, forget about the ones who don't and believe that everything happens for a reason. So, if you get a chance, take it. If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said that it would be easy they just promised it would be worth it!"
I love this quote.. i really do!!! I believe in 'everything happens for a reason'. I have changed over the past month and 13 days.. changed for the better but lost a dear friend of mine. No he didn't die, we broke up. I am not going to be one of those ex-girlfriends who says bad things about their other but I am going to say how much I miss him but I am growing stronger without him. I cry a lot thinking about him actually because no one realizes how hard relationship break-ups are unless they have been through it. I talk to people daily about how to help this pain and every one says the same thing... GET OVER IT MARY LOIS!! you deserve so much better!! and I agree to some extent but if people knew my relationship with him then they would feel my pain.. but they don't. I feel like i lost my boyfriend, best friend, partner, etc. BUT I want to make the best out of my life so i am not going to sit around a pout about this. NO SIR. here's what i am going for..."Rejoice in your sufferings...it produces perserverance; perserverance produces character; and character produces hope." Romans 5: 3-5
This saying says it all. Hope.
It is getting late but I am going to leave you with this... I pray that I will find hope in my life to perserve through this deep pain I am taking in from my family, friends, college, and relationships. I will write more later..
"Eventually all the pieces will fall into place. Until then, laugh at the confusion, live for the moment, and know that everything happens for a reason."
